Hull has a lot of good quality tarmac cycle tracks. Many of which are separate from the roads, and a lot are built on the routes of old railway lines. This is one of the routes that I enjoy.
Mainly because it is quiet and away from the roads. It is a circular route, which starts and finishes at Hull’s newest tourist attraction that is the Millennium Project, The Deep. It has a wonderfully smooth car park, with a gradual incline at one end. This is an idea spot for practising your skating skills. The car park is floodlit, so therefore, the possibility is there for skating 24/7. However, when The Deep’s open, skating is not ideal, as the car park is very busy.
